Funded by the city of Boston’s Boston R.O.C.K.S. program, the One Hood Peace Basketball League is a partnership between Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción (IBA) and the Blackstone Community Center. Franklin Park Coalition (FPC) was named a “Champion in Action” recently by Citizens Bank and NECN. Committed to preserving and restoring Franklin Park — Boston’s largest urban greenspace — the group received a $25,000 grant from the Citizens Bank Foundation and extensive media support from NECN.
