The Franklin Park team recently won the 21 and under round of the First Annual Franklin Park Basketball Tournament, beating Brockton in the finals. On August 23, Boston Housing Authority’s (BHA) Chief Administrator, Bill McGonagle, was interviewed by BHA’s Youth Leadership Institute summer employees Carmen Pedron and Marvi Francisco. In his final comment, McGonagle shared that he, too, is a product of a BHA  development, the Mary Ellen McCormack Housing Project. He encouraged  the students to maintain great grades. The students participated in a seven-week summer employment project called Photography and Journalism, supervised by Tony Irving and Vanessa Smith (BHA) (Tony Irving photo).
