The Mystic Chorale Gospel 2013
The Mystic Chorale, one of Boston’s favorite choruses, presents its eagerly anticipated annual Gospel concert. Two hundred fifty voices strong, the chorale will give two joyful & spirit-filled concerts featuring an eclectic mix of music rooted in the African-American gospel tradition. An energizing program is planned with pieces by many noted gospel and inspirational composers including Sandra Crouch, Kirk Franklin and James Taylor. Also the chorale will perform a dynamic jazz setting of the gospel favorite Oh Happy Day by Edwin Hawkins.
