Vice President of Quality Management

Advocates is seeking a full-time Vice President of Quality Management. This executive-level position is responsible for the strategic oversight of the quality management/assurance, compliance, and corporate risk management of the organization.

1. Provide strategic oversight of a comprehensive Quality Improvement strategy with the overarching goal to ensure that the organization meets or exceeds the expectations ofall customers includingthe individuals served, family members and state agency and community partners, utilizing dataanalysis and quality outcome management.
2. Lead Quality Assurance initiatives. Ensure organizational compliance with all surveys, licensing, certifications, and national accreditations to includeCommission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), Medication Administration Program (MAP), Medicare/MedicaidReviews, and Rehab Optionand Licensing. 
3. Oversee corporate risk management. Manage legal issues and liaison with attorneys, provide guidance regarding liability and risk issues, and maintain all corporate insurance policies.

Qualifications:

1. Master’s degree in social services or related field and a minimum of 10years’ experience as a senior level manager.
2. Working knowledge of all applicable regulations (DDS, DMH, DPH, MAP, MassHealth).
3. Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with the design and development of an Electronic Health Record system is a plus.
4. Ability to execute a variety of decision-making models.
5. Exceptional organizational and critical thinking skills.
6. Superior communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
7. Ability to lead diverse high performance teams.

   Our Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Abuse Clinics, Psychiatric Emergency Services and Senior Support Services reach approximately 10,000 individuals and families annually.
