Jackson Square project officially breaks ground

The first phase of a $250 million redevelopment plan for Jackson Square is officially underway. A May 12, groundbreaking ceremony celebrated the start of 225 Centre Street, a six-story mixed-used building with 103 rental apartments and some 16,000 square feet of ground floor commercial/retail space, as well as underground parking. Additional surface parking and improved sidewalks and landscaping are also in the plans. More »

City seeks strategies for Dudley parking woes

A preliminary parking analysis for the Ferdinand redevelopment in Dudley Square indicates that the demand for parking spaces by Boston Public School (BPS) employees relocating to the new municipal building could be as high as 260 spaces.
