Local and Culturally Relevant Events this week

Minister Don Muhammad presented Cathedral High School quarterback Matthew Owens with an award recognizing the team’s outstanding 2011 season and appearance in the Eastern Mass Division 4A Super Bowl. The team lost the state championship game 16-14 after a penalty was imposed on the quarterback for raising his arm as he was about to enter the end zone and score the winning touchdown.
