Roving Camera

Do you think John McCain’s choice of
Sarah Palin as a running mate backfired?

After the whole Sarah Palin factor veered off, people realized that it was an irresponsible thing for McCain to do using Palin as a gimmick.

I think it has. I thought it was a great political gamble. I don’t think he had a chance to be in the fight without some youth … to bring in the young and women vote.

I think he took her on because she was a woman, not a qualified running mate.

arthur-collins.jpg I believe so. I think he could have picked a better choice of any female candidate other than Palin. Some of her comments, her family background and her own personal life is coming to light and that’s making a negative perception on the McCain camp.

sage-skog.jpg I don’t think that McCain’s pick of Sarah Palin has had a neither or positive impact on his campaign. I think he’s down in the polls because he has all the wrong ideas for our country right now. We’re in major debt and he doesn’t have any changes. He will be more Bush all over again.

Absolutely. I hope so. Absolutely. The reason I say absolutely because Palin doesn’t have broad-range political knowledge. I said I hope so because … I think how she presented herself has even made it more challenging for women who might have supported her.
