How do you view the new credit
card regulations?

Credit card companies were allowed to pick our pockets for years. The current reforms provide no restitution and no pathway to alleviate accumulated debt. We need to impose stricter state controls if the federal government does not.

I think that credit card companies should use the same rules for giving credit for everyone. Students without a job can have a card but people with a job and past credit problems can’t have a card. What is the difference?

Making it difficult for the average consumer to make daily purchases using plastic would be an enormous inconvenience considering that the majority of the population carries little to no money on them at all times.

I think it’s all about responsibility. It’s not right for some college students who have no job or incoming money to see having a credit card as a way to have easy money.
