• Establish a quiet space for studying that allows you to focus on your work.
• Set a daily schedule for when you will study.
• Show up to school every day prepared.
• Meet with your guidance counselor to talk about college prep classes.
• Ask for help in classes you find challenging.
• Attend college/job fairs for ideas and to ask questions.
• Seek out opportunities to visit colleges.
• Find a tutor if you know a class will be a challenge, don’t wait until it’s too late in the semester to change your grade.
• Build your scholarship resume by participating in activities, working, and doing well in your classes.
• Try to complete your taxes as soon as possible, all colleges will need copies of your most recent forms.
