Do you think the governor’s CORI
package has gone far enough?
The only part I agree with would be for people working with children, to check to see if they were arrested on [charges of crimes] against children. No one else’s background should be looked into by the public.

If a person has been in a position for 15-20 years and all of a sudden they have to be let go because of a CORI, then I don’t think that’s fair.

When I was 17 years old, I caught two drug-related felony convictions. Because of this, I can’t receive financial aid to go to college from the government, Now the only jobs I can get are those [where employers] don’t check CORI. So how am I supposed to support myself?
