I would like to see something that would involve the youth community where they could find job opportunities and be able to maintain a relationship with the rest of the community. |

I agree with Yanique, but would like to build on the aspect of having the youth build a reciprocal relationship with the elder generation where they learn from one another. | Quinana C. Teacher Dorchester |

There needs to be a nightlife in Dudley. I don’t want to drive to Harlem just to go to a good jazz club. | Bai Kamora Graduate Student Dorchester |

They need a supermarket. They used to have Folsom’s and Blair’s. A lot of people don’t have vehicles. They usually take a cab or bus — and the bus line would be right there. | John Wilcox Welder Dorchester |

I think they should build more shelters for needy people. | Cliff Llewellyn ORS 1 Operator Dorchester |

| I agree with you Cafe Lover. Have you been to Haley House? It's not a night club, but it does promote healthy eats, local artists, and hires and trains local youth in culinary arts. They had a Sunday jazz brunch, but did not get a good turnout. Will our community support a jazz club if we build it? I hope so. | |

| We need a bookstore/cafe that will create an environment for our youth. The site could also serve for jazz enthusiasts, an elder night out, a place to display and sell art work of up and coming artists. This site should be developed by an individual who will hire our youth, diversify the consumers, and create an environment that folks will recognize that Boston is on the map. No more travelling outside of the community for quality eats, good service and a clean environment. | |
