Did you miss the Banner? |

I missed the Banner. Yes, I was a little nervous. I realized that this is a difficult economic time, but I didn’t want the city [and] community to lose a major communication vehicle. |

Very much so. I’m very glad that it was just a hiatus, as the idea that the city of Boston was going to lose that voice was very uncomfortable. |

Very much so, because I read the Banner every week. I always look forward to it and encourage others to read it. |

Yes, I did. Though I was abroad for a few weeks, I always look for the Banner. I’ve been a consistent reader for over five years. |

The Bay State Banner has been the only local newspaper I have the utmost respect [for] because it actually knows its community. |

Definitely. I only read three newspapers a week. I’ve missed the Banner for the past few weeks. |

I'm very relieved that the BAY STATE BANNER is back! It's the only real positive voice Black people have to present us in a positive light in the media. The only way we get into one of the local papers is if it's something negative - I stopped reading it years ago. I can only hope the BANNER continues for many more years! |

I missed the Banner very much, as it and has been my communication connection to my roots. Living on the west coast without the Banners voice would have been another death if you will of an important vehicle which carries our expression of culture, ethnicities, art, education and neighborhood movement. Welcome back!!!!! |
