I have very close friends who are a part of the Haitian community as well as the Prince Hall Masonic family. We plan to give to a fundraising organization who’s reputable. |

Empathy. My heart really goes out to the Haitian people. I’ve prayed as I’m not in the position to do much more right now. |

Disbelief. That so many people were killed so quickly at one place at one time. I’ve donated $200. |

It humbled me. It made me realize how unpredictable yet valuable life really is. I’m doing whatever I can to ease the pain: We’ve sent out invitations to over 10K (thousand) people to support Collaborative Earthquake Relief Effort and my family has donated a check to the Red Cross. |

My son’s half Haitian. I worry about the safety of his family and the families that have visited us in the past. I’m helping my colleagues give a fundraiser in which every single dollar is going to the Red Cross for the Haitian Earthquake Relief Fund. |

My first reaction was: how much can people take? I can’t put myself in that position. I’m going down there and will give money when I decide which orga nization is most reputable and will give the most to the people. |
