|On the one hand, to reduce the tax will keep buyers in Massachusetts, but if we keep the tax the same we can continue to fund Massachusetts projects and services.
|I don’t think the liquor tax should be lowered. The reason is: There are more than enough liquor stores in our community and that revenue can be best used for projects that combat substance abuse.

|In general revenues in our communities have been down for some time, so we need to maintain the current liquor tax but apply more revenue to substance abuse programs.
|Whatever they need to do to keep the money in Massachusetts, that is: Don’t let another state benefit off the tax being too high here.
|No, you’ve got to pay to play. Alcohol is not a necessity in one’s daily life; therefore, keep the tax as it is.
|I don’t think they should repeal the higher tax because they’ll be looking to take the funds from somewhere else like school lunch.
