Good morning, gang:

We here at Banner HQ want to hear what you've got to say about Election Day -- who you voted for and why, what it was like at your polling place, whether you encountered any problems, etc.  If you've got something to say about this election -- and most folks do -- consider this your place to share it.  We'll be updating this post throughout the day, so if you've checked in once, feel free to check back in later.  Thanks for reading, and if you haven't already, get out there and vote!

Take care,

We voted at the Shelbourne Athletic Center in the heart of the city.  The line stretched out of the building and down the walk to Washington Street.  Many old and very young folks were there.  Some school Buses rode by with students chanting out the windows, "Obama, Obama..."  Inside the staff of adequately equipped poll workers hustled us through the process.  Meanwhile, Suffolk University students attempted to performed an exit poll on departing voters (every second voter was targeted).  Everyone seemed to be excited by the event and for many voting was a new experience.

And we were all excited!

I voted at Boston Latin as well - and arrived at 7am to find a long line waiting for the doors to open.  We waited in line for an hour - and didn't mind but was rather surprised to see one person working the desk!!  I guess not enough people signed up as volunteers.  Great experience nonetheless

I voted at Boston Latin School in Roxbury. I was excited because when I arrived there was a line halfway down the block. It took about 45 minutes to get into the polling station to find out there was only one poll worker there checking people in.  Because of the  excitement of the election no one seemed overly upset, but it was disappointed they did not anticipate there was going to be a high turn-out of voters and have another worker.

Regardless I left feeling great having taken part in the election of OBAMA!!!
