¿Oíste? recently announced the appointment of  Alejandra St. Guillen as its next executive director.

St. Guillen has been ¿Oíste?’s program manager for the Initiative for Diversity in Civic Leadership (IDCL) for the last three years. She has been instrumental in building the foundation and continued support for IDCL, ¿Oíste?’s largest program, ¿Oíste? stated in its announcement.

She now serves on the board of La Alianza Hispana, and has a long history of civic engagement across Massachusetts.

She was voted one of the 100 Most Influential Latinos in Massachusetts in 2009 by El Planeta.

“Alejandra is an excellent choice,” says ¿Oíste? Board of Directors President Angel H. Bermudez. “She is poised to help advance the work of ¿Oíste? as we move forward in our mission to advance the political, social and economic standing of Latinos and Latinas statewide.”
