What’s Hot in the City – Sept. 30th

Boston Fashion Week is in full swing. Here’s a look at what’s hot in Boston this week!

Monday, Sept. 30, check out the Modus Collection Clothing Co. Runway Show featuring New England Revolution star Ryan Guy and media personalities walking the runway at 6:30 p.m. at BOND Restaurant and Lounge. All of the proceeds will benefit Friends Fighting Breast Cancer, which raises money for Breast Cancer Research at Mass General Hospital. VIP tickets are $50, and general admission costs $25.

Tuesday, Oct. 1, it’s an “Artists’ Conversation” with award-winning designers Isabel and Ruben Toledo at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design at 8 p.m. Tickets are $40. For more information, visit http://stitchingstudio.eventbrite.com.

Thursday, Oct. 3, makeup guru Trish McEvoy teaches a master class at Neiman Marcus from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is free. Call (617) 585-6007 for more information.

Also on Oct. 3, Photo Nights Boston presents “Photorama,” a collection of large-scale projections of photographs from Photo Nights Boston’s photography contest, beginning at 7 p.m. at Cyclorama in the South End. Admission is free. Guests must be 21 or older to enter.

Friday, Oct. 4, the ICA presents “First Fridays: Fashion Forward,” a fashion presentation by Louis Boston and an introduction to the season’s trends by Christopher Muther, Boston Globe style writer, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are free for ICA members and $15 for non-members.

Also on Oct. 4, Comedian Ralphie May takes The Wilbur Theatre stage for two shows at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.
