The fall season is upon us and the city is abuzz with a host of live performances from art shows and plays to concerts and festivals. Here’s a look at what’s hot in Boston this week!

The House of Blues presents James Black this Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 8 p.m. Tickets: $25 for general admission standing; $35 VIP boxes.

The Boston Jewish Film Festival holds its 25th anniversary event this Wednesday, Nov. 6 through Monday, Nov. 18. For a schedule of films, visit www.bjff.org.
