The winter season is upon us and the city is abuzz with a host of live performances from art shows and plays to concerts and festivals. Here’s a look at what’s hot this week!

This Tuesday, Dec. 3, Lupe Fiasco with Stalley and Boy Illinois perform at the House of Blues at 8 p.m. Tickets: $35 General Admission Standing; $49.50 VIP Box. It’s an all-ages show. To purchase, go to www.livenation.com.

On Wednesday, Dec. 4, Rod Stewart’s “Live the Life” Tour comes to the TD Garden with special guest Steve Winwood at 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $49.50; $92.00 and $152.00.
