Tonight (Thursday), Cat Power performs at the Paradise Rock Club along with Willy Mason at 8 p.m. Tickets: $36 General Admission;

Jane Bunnett & Maqueque, the all-woman Cuban sextet perform a fusion of jazz and Afro-Cuban music tonight at Scullers Jazz Club at 8 p.m. Show: $30; Dinner & Show: $70;

The ICA kicks off their new series “ICA After 5” this Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. featuring tastings, artisan demonstrations, DIY workshops, and more in the Water Café from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission to ICA After 5 is included with regular museum admission. Tickets: $15 general public; $10 students; Free for ICA members.

On Friday, Funny Or Die presents the Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival: Aziz Ansari and Amy Schumer at the Xfinity Center along with Anthony Jeselnik, Donnell Rawlings, Nick Kroll, Jay Pharoah, Jeff Ross, Jim Norton, John Mulaney, Michael Che, and many more comedians beginning at 5 p.m. Tickets: $29-$126.

If driving out to Mansfield isn’t possible, then head on over to The Wilbur to see comedian Kumail Nanjiana at 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $27;

Performing music from her latest album, Lizz Wright brings her Surrender & Freedom concert tour to the Berklee Performance Center this Saturday night at 8 p.m. Tickets: $32, $42 and $57;

Also on Saturday, Scullers Jazz Club presents Grammy-nominee Oleta Adams for two shows at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Show: $40; Dinner & Show: $80;
