The Town of Easton is accepting applications for a qualified individual to fill the position of full time Administrative Assistant for the Department of Health and Community Services (35 hours per week). The Administrative Assistant is a skilled resource for all residents, staff and clients of the Department of Health & Community Services.
Duties include but are not limited to maintaining a building & room reservation system and work may include occasional nights and weekends; responsible for addressing building maintenance requests, performing minor cleaning as necessary; must possess excellent computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office products and have the ability to maintain the department’s website; maintains records of transactions and services provided and assists in the preparation of necessary reports, agendas and minutes; provides support to the Transportation Program by assisting with the preparation of the schedule in the absence of the Transportation Coordinator. The Candidate must have a high school diploma including courses in office procedures and typing; two years’ experience in an office setting or any equivalent combination of education and experience. This is a nonunion position and the rate of pay is $19.48 per hour.
