Gabrielle Farrell

Gabrielle Farrell joined Senator Elizabeth Warren’s 2018 campaign for re-election as press secretary following her most recent stretch as press secretary for Mayor Marty Walsh’s successful 2017 re-election campaign. She will now serve as an official spokesperson for Senator Warren throughout her campaign.

Farrell grew up in Mattapan and upon receiving a full-tuition scholarship from the Posse Foundation, she attended Bryn Mawr College, earning a bachelor’s degree in French and Political Science. After college, she landed her first job at Project Bread, which stewards The Walk for Hunger, managing communications and external affairs.

Later, she joined the Walsh Administration in March 2014 as the mayor’s press assistant and progressed into the role of an associate press secretary. In 2016, Mayor Walsh and Boston Public Schools Superintendent Tommy Chang appointed Farrell as Deputy Chief of Staff of Communications for Boston Public Schools.

Farrell holds a master’s of science in communications from Northeastern University and currently resides in Dorchester.
