The holiday season brings family and loved ones in closer contact. It is very easy to forget that COVID-19 and its numerous infectious spawn still create a major health hazard. Wastewater inspections by state health departments have recently found substantial increases in the presence of Covid. And there has been a growth in the number of Covid cases.

This is no time to become indifferent about the potential danger. There have already been 22,488 recorded Covid deaths in Massachusetts. According to reports, more than 5.5 million people in Massachusetts have been fully vaccinated. Everyone should be certain to have all available booster shots before they join in the loving Christmas crowds. A vaccination is the best protection against a serious Covid illness.
