Celebrate the Official Opening of the New Neponset Greenway Path Extension

On Saturday, May 12 from Noon to 3pm everyone is invited to celebrate the opening of the Neponset Greenway path between Mattapan Square and Central Avenue. Festivities will take place at Ryan Playground in Mattapan and the Harvest Bridge (directly behind Ryan Playground) that connects the Mattapan and Milton sides of the Greenway. Festivities include a family friendly 2 mile bike ride and 1.3 mile walk on the Greenway, live musical acts and spoken word, crafts, ribbon cutting and reflections by Mattapan/Milton residents and Governor Charles Baker.
