Dot Jazz: Eric Hofbauer’s Book of Fire

Greater Ashmont Main Street and Mandorla Music Events are very pleased to co-present the 2019-2020 Dot Jazz Series at Peabody Hall in the Parish of All Saints Ashmont.  Our February event will be the CD release concert for ‘Book of Fire,’ a collaboration between guitarist Eric Hofbauer and bassist Tony Leva out 1/31 on Creative Nation Music. The two create a unique soundscape in this 5-part suite for guitar, bass, turntables and samples inspired by the writings and speeches of James Baldwin. The evening will also likely feature additional solo and duo pieces by Hofbauer and Leva.
