Join the Franklin Park Coalition as we celebrate the life, legacy, and vision of Elma Lewis. In 1966 she created Playhouse in the Franklin Park. She showcased her students, staff, local community artists, and nationally known musicians. she brought her community together, each night, all summer long to celebrate our talent, enjoy each other, and be entertained. It is in this sprit that we bring you the 2021 Elma Lewis Playhouse in the Park Summer Concert Series.

Bring a lawn chair, a picnic supper, and all your friends and family! You’ll find the Playhouse stage in Franklin Park next to the Playstead field, after turning onto Pierpont Road towards the Zoo’s Giraffe Entrance. All FREE!
