Holiday Tree Lighting in Roxbury

Neighborhood residents are invited to join in a Community Tree Lighting Holiday Celebration at the historic Dillaway Thomas House at Roxbury Heritage State Park on December 21 from 4 – 6 pm.

Dillaway Thomas House and Central Boston Elder Services are collaborating to sponsor the event which will include singing with local choirs, hot cider and refreshments, and the opportunity to celebrate the holidays with family and friends from the communities that you love.

“We want to give all community residents – our seniors, children and family members – the chance to enjoy the spirit of the holidays together, said Michael Vance, CEO, Central Boston oy Elder Services. “Many of the seniors we serve live alone and this gathering will give them the chance to join with other community residents in a joyful holiday celebration.
