Gain excitement from our speakers, authors and experts as you say “I will upgrade my life,” this year! #UPML began in 2016 when seven women dared to dream. Women from Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, California, Louisiana, Virginia, North Carolina, England, Germany, Jamaica, Brazil, Trinidad and Tobago and many other places have formed friendships and connections through this awesome tribe. Our conference motto is that as we can succeed when we aren’t isolated. Our #IWBCC tribe has over 9000 followers and we are ecstatic about this. #IWBCC is an extension of Turning On the Lights Global Institute.

Turning On the Lights Global Institute began in 2014 with the goal of helping individuals reach personal and professional goals.

We provide womenpreneurs, start-ups and international executives communication and ideation strategy to leverage business success.  The #IWBCC conference occurs in Boston and online in the spring. Manuel Da Graca will discuss the role of internationalization as it relates to entrepreneurship. In an article he wrote Manuel says, “It is crucial for leaders to be open to different perspectives, be avid to learn new strategies and attentive to what their teams may suggest; these things will allow confident and strong managers to adapt or change their decision-making process when necessary.”

Dr. Allana Da Graca the founder of the International Women Build Confidence Conference recognized that women who set out to start new businesses felt isolated and stagnant. in 2018 she launched the conference with 27 women in attendance. This year we anticipate the conference to have women from all over the country be apart of this growing initiative.

As an educator and artist who has worked with institutions like Lesley University, Walden University, Bentley University and Northeastern University, Dr. Da Graca is passionate about helping her clients transform their lives. She has assisted executives from Fortune 500 companies with ideation, communication strategy and interpersonal communication techniques.  She launched the Women Build Confidence and Business Communication Mastery programs in 2016.
