Living Legends Gala: celebrating Boston’s African American experience

LIVING LEGENDS GALA
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2019 | 4:30pm
FOUR SEASONS HOTEL BOSTON | 200 Boylston St, Boston, MA 02116

The Living Legends Gala is one of the most anticipated events celebrating Boston’s unique African American experience. The compelling stories of the past and present inspire pride and continue the legacy of equality for all. Support the legacy and contribution of African American historical women, Florence Higginbotham and Maria Stewart, and honor today’s women who follow in their footsteps breaking gender roles —- our 2019 Living Legends: 4x Grammy-winning bassist, singer-songwriter and opera composer, Esperanza Spalding and 2019 Oscar winner, Ruth Carter.

On Sunday, December 8, 2019 you will experience a history-filled evening hosted by the 2018 Living Legend and star of “Black-ish”, Anthony Anderson. Join co-chairs, Mark Touhey (Liberty Mutual) and Paul Francisco (State Street) for an enlightening evening and extraordinary food. Bid on exclusive live auction items and mingle with Boston’s most prominent CEOs, diverse community leaders, and influencers. Your support for the Living Legends Gala signals to all your commitment to highlighting Boston’s extraordinary past and its role in creating a more inclusive present and future.

TICKETS $500 per guest. Ticket includes: Living Legends Program, Living Legends presentation of the silver cup, Live Auction and Entertainment.
