Celebrated World War I history scholar and author Dr. John H. Morrow Jr., will appear at the Boston Public Library’s Roxbury Branch on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 10 AM. He will discuss The Fight for Equal Rights: African American Military Service in the World Wars.

Veterans and Friends of Gourdin Memorial Park with the Hutchins Center for African & African American Research at Harvard University is hosting the event to celebrate African American Veterans Military Heritage Day. The library is located at 149 Dudley St., Roxbury, Massachusetts, in Nubian Square.
