The Town of Randolph seeks a full-time principal assessor. The position manages the Assessor’s Office and the administrative, technical and supervisory work related to the valuation and re-evaluation of all real estate and personal property within the Town of Randolph. The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or related field including extensive appraisal education; more than five years of progressively responsible real and personal property appraisal or assessment experience, including the use of a computer assisted mass appraisal system. Some supervisory experience or a demonstrable capacity for supervision of staff required; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. A valid motor vehicle operator’s license and access to reliable transportation is required to conduct field inspections related to property valuation. Massachusetts Accredited Assessor (MAA) and either Certified Assessment Evaluation (CAE) or Certified Massachusetts Assessor (CMA) professional designations required. Strong computer technology and software skills required, Vision and MUNIS experience preferred. Salary range $76,775-$101,029, plus a variety of municipal benefits available.
