The Brookline Improvement Coalition, Brookline, Massachusetts (BIC) invites sealed bids in accordance with M.G.L. Ch. 30B to repair its roof at 154-156 Boylston Street in Brookline, MA in accordance with the bid documents as written by BIC. Bidding begins on June 11, 2021.

Any questions pertaining to procedures of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) or the specifications of this IFB are to be directed to Deborah Brown, BIC’s Vice President at deborah.brown1@comcast.net. You may review the Request for Proposals at BIC’s website, www.biccdc.org.

A site visit is encouraged. The roof of 154-156 Boylston Street will be open to potential bidders at: 9-10:30AM on June 7, 2021 and 2-3:30 pm on June 8, 2021, if advanced notice is given.

Bids may be held open for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days from the bid’s submission date, unless award is made sooner, or the time for award is extended.

Award of a contract may be subject to the approval of BIC’s Board of Directors. Award, payment, and performance obligations in the present and succeeding fiscal years shall depend on the availability and appropriation of funds.

I. BID SUBMISSION PROCEDURE

Bids will be received at BIC until July 2, 2021 at which time they will be opened. Bids submitted after that time and date will be rejected. Three (3) copies, one original and two copies, of each bid shall be submitted.

Bids must be clearly marked “BIC Bid for Roof Replacement” and should be submitted to:
