Sub-Bids at 12:00 Noon: August 25, 2021 General Bids at 2:00 PM: September 8, 2021 Every Filed Sub-Bidder must be certified by DCAMM in the category for which they bid. Every General Bidder must be certified by DCAMM for the category of work listed below and for no less than the bid price plus all add alternates of this project, if applicable. The Category of Work is: General Building Construction Mass. State Project No. TRC1905 Third Street Courthouse – Envelope Repairs, Cambridge, MA And **the following Filed Sub-Bids**: Masonry; Miscellaneous & Ornamental Iron; Waterproofing, Dampproofing & Caulking; Roofing & Flashing; Metal Windows; Plumbing; HVAC; Electrical. E.C.C: $4,629,743 This project is scheduled for 365 calendar days to substantial completion. Scope: Complete removal & disposal of the entire SBS roofing system; repair copper roofing; remove & dispose of skylight, Cupola cladding, and exterior window; restore exterior brick & granite; replacement of existing air handler; relocation of existing chiller; renovations at the detention center to add a cell and change entry/existing cell to improve privacy; slab modifications in Sally Port.
A Pre-Bid meeting will be held on August 10, 2021 @ 10:00 AM at Third Street Courthouse, 121 Third Street, Cambridge, MA. Bring a valid ID and meet in front of the Courthouse.
Minimum rates of wages to be paid on the project have been determined by the Commissioner of the Department of Labor Standards. These rates are incorporated into the bid documents.
