MASSACHUSETTS BAY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY
SOLICITATION FOR GENERAL ENGINEERING CONSULTING (GEC) SERVICES FOR THE
ENGINEERING AND MAINTENANCE (E&M) DEPARTMENT

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) is soliciting multi-disciplined engineering firms to provide General Engineering Consulting services to augment the engineering staff within the Engineering and Maintenance (E&M) department. The selected consultants will exhibit a depth of experience and expertise to support E&M’s objective of increasing service reliability.

The Scope of Services includes, but is not limited to: Asset Management systems integration, Condition Assessments, Renewal forecasting, Maintenance and repair work delivery, Work planning and management, and other GEC Services as may be assigned.

The duration of this contract will be three (3) years from the date of Notice to Proceed, with the option for two (2), one (1) year extensions.

This project will utilize Federal Funds. The DBE Participation Goal is twelve (12) percent.
