Madison Park Technical High School naming Rooms after Two Former Staff Members

Public Hearing Notice for Madison Park Technical High School, 75 Malcolm X Boulevard, naming Rooms after Two Former Staff Members on April 28, 2022, at 6 pm at Cardinal Hall. Please come and express your support for the naming of two rooms after two retired Madison Park staff members.

Madison Park Technical Vocational High School voted on February 12, 2022, to honor the significant contributions made by two former staff members by the Madison Park School Site Council, Faculty, and Staff by recognizing the dedication and work achieved under the leadership of Charles McAfee, retired Head of School from 2000 to 2012 by naming Cardinal Hall, the Charles McAfee Cardinal Hall. As well the School Site Council, Faculty, and Staff recognize the significant contribution made by Jose Solis, retired Student Support Coordinator from 1988 to 2022 by naming room 7-275, the Jose Solis Student Center.

The School Site Council along with the Faculty and Staff would like to convene a public hearing on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Madison Park Technical Vocational High School, 75 Malcolm X Boulevard at 6 pm at Cardinal Hall regarding the proposed naming of Cardinal Hall to that of Charles McAfee Cardinal Hall and 7-275 the Jose Solis Student Center. Please come out to express your opinion on this proposed change.
