The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, through its Division of Capital Asset Management & Maintenance (DCAMM), requests that qualified and experienced Trade Contractors submit Trade Contractor Statement of Qualifications to be received through DCAMM’s E-Bid Room at www.bidexpress.com/businesses/10279/home no later than 12:00 PM, October 26, 2021.

This project involves construction of a new building, partial renovation of E Building, which was constructed in 1973, the demolition of the M Building (modular building), and the replacement of the primary electrical infrastructure on the Charlestown Campus.

This Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) is the first phase of a two-phase procurement process as set forth in MGL Chapter 149A. DCAMM, through its Trade Contractor Prequalification Committee is prequalifying firms interested in providing public Trade Contractor services on this Public Construction Manager at Risk (“CM at Risk”) Project for the construction of Bunker Hill Community College – New Academic Student Success Center – Building E Renovation, Boston, MA, through this RFQ process.

Trade Contractor Statement of Qualifications Forms from interested Trade Contractors are sought for the following Fourteen (14) categories of work: Masonry ($300,000); Miscellaneous & Ornamental Iron ($225,000); Waterproofing, Dampproofing & Caulking ($175,000); Roofing & Flashing ($1,770,000); Glass & Glazing ($195,000); Tile ($115,000); Acoustical Tile ($750,000); Resilient Floors ($390,000); Painting ($350,000); Elevators ($150,000); Fire Protection Sprinkler System ($725,000); Plumbing ($890,000); HVAC ($5,525,000); Electrical ($3,725,000). Only prequalified firms will be permitted to submit bids for the categories of work in which they were prequalified. The Construction Manager is Bond Building Construction, Inc.
