MASSACHUSETTS BAY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY SOLICITATION FOR ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES FOR COST ESTIMATING, SCHEDULING, AND VALUE ENGINEERING

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

MBTA CONTRACT NO. Z91PS26, Z91PS27 and Z91PS28

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is soliciting Architectural and Engineering Consulting Services for Cost Estimating, Scheduling, and Value Engineering Services. The Scope of Services may include but is not limited to: Multi-discipline engineering for Scheduling, Cost Estimating, Value Engineering, Constructability Reviews, and Risk Analysis. The scope of services
will be authorized on a task order basis. The duration of this contract will be three (3) years.

This project is expected to utilize Federal and non-federal funding. The DBE participation goal for this project is twelve percent (12%) of the total amount authorized. In addition, the Authority strongly encourages the use of Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises as prime consultants, sub-consultants and suppliers in all of its contracting opportunities.
