MASSACHUSETTS BAY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY SOLICITATION FOR GENERAL ENGINEERING CONSULTING (GEC) SERVICES TASK ORDER CONTRACTS FOR RAILROAD OPERATIONS MBTA CONTRACT NOS. RROPS24, RROPS25, RROPS26, RROPS27, RROPS28 AND RROPS29

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is soliciting General Engineering Consulting Services Task Order Contract for ad hoc Engineering Services. The Scope of Service(s) may include but are not limited to: advice and consultation with Railroad Operations on matters of general design, construction, and maintenance as well as engineering services. The scope of services will be authorized by task order on an as needed basis. The conceptual level cost estimate for the proposed Contracts is $ 5,000,000. The duration of this contract will be Three (3) years.

This project is expected to utilize Federal and non-federal funding. The DBE participation goal for this project is 11% of the total amount authorized. In addition, the Authority strongly encourages the use of Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises as prime consultants, sub-consultants and suppliers in all of its contracting opportunities.
