NEW CONSTRUCTION WINDOW REPLACEMENT
FOR THE ROSE MORIN APARTMENTS (10 BUILDINGS, 60 UNITS)

The Falmouth Housing Authority (FHA), Owner, requests proposals for the new construction window replacement at its Rose Morin Apartments, located at 58 Rose Morin Lane, Falmouth, MA 02540.

Falmouth Housing Authority seeks to obtain the design and installation of energy-efficient replacement windows and window frames at the Rose Morin Apartments, 58 Rose Morin Lane, Falmouth, MA 02540. There are a total of 60 units; approximately 420 windows of various sizes. The work is expected to take up to 90 business days and is anticipated to cost $475,000. Attendance at the scheduled site tour is strongly recommended. Bidders must determine final sizes and counts.

A tour of the Rose Morin Apartments will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. This is a non-mandatory courtesy tour. However, please note, there will not be other site tours for this RFP because we wish to minimize disruption to our residents and our number of vacant units to tour are limited.

Proposals are due to the FHA offices no later than Monday, February 13, 2023, at 12:00 (Noon).

The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.

Davis Bacon wage rates and Section 3 requirements apply to this contract opportunity.

No bidder may withdraw their bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

Businesses owned by minorities, women and veterans are also encouraged to apply.
