SOLICITATION FOR PM/CM SERVICES FOR CRITICAL COMMUNICATIONS IMPLEMENTATION & P25 PLAN FOR TRANSIT POLICE – RAIL & BUS (CCTRB) PROJECT
REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is soliciting Owner’s Representation services for the Critical Communications Implementation & P25 Plan for Transit Police – Rail & Bus (CCTRB) Project.

The scope includes PM/CM services to support the CCTRB design-build project which has a conceptual level construction cost estimate of $55,000,000. Services may include, but are not limited to multi-disciplined Engineering (i.e. signal systems, communications systems, civil, structural, electrical, mechanical); Environmental Approvals and Permitting; Contract Management Assistance; Scheduling; Quality Control/Quality Assurance; Construction Systems and Methods; Construction Planning; Construction Staging and Constructability; Construction Cost Estimating; Design Phase Services; Construction Phase Services; and Testing and Commissioning Phase Services. The duration of this contract will be four (4) years.

This project is expected to utilize Federal and non-federal funding. The DBE participation goal for this project is twenty percent (20%) of the total amount authorized. In addition, the Authority strongly encourages the use of Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises as prime consultants, sub-consultants and suppliers in all of its contracting opportunities.
