The Economic Development and Industrial Corporation of Boston, d/b/a Boston Planning & Development Agency (the “BPDA”), by its Chief Procurement Officer (“CPO”), invites sealed competitive bids for “Project No. 9517-C Elevator Maintenance, Repair and Testing” (the “Project”), located within the Raymond L. Flynn Marine Park (“RLFMP”) at 12 Channel Street, 22 Drydock Avenue, and 12 Drydock Avenue. All bids for this Project are subject to all applicable provisions of law, including without limitation, Sections 39F, and 39K through 39P of Chapter 30 and Chapter 149 Sections 29 and 44A-44J, inclusive of the Massachusetts General Laws, as may be amended, and shall be in accordance with the terms and provisions of the bid documents. IFB Package: The IFB package, including a site map and requirements for this project will be available to download on the BPDA Procurement Portal free-of charge in digital print form to all interested bidders on March 31, 2021, 9:00 A.M at www.bostonplans.org/work-with-us/procurement. Plan holders shall open and register the information requested for “Project Number 9517-C Elevator Repair, Maintenance, and Testing,” and then follow the prompt to start file download under the “Work with Us” tab. If unable to access the IFB package through the BPDA Procurement Portal, contact the BPDA Procurement Office at 617-918-5273, or via email to BPDA.CPO@boston.gov in order to make alternative arrangements. Pre-Bid Conference: A virtual pre-bid conference will be held on April 8, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. Time and Place for Filing Bids: All bids shall be filed with the EDIC on April 27, 2021 before 12 Noon at One City Hall Square, 9th floor, Boston MA 02201. Bidders who wish to drop off their respective bids via courier or in person, must follow the operating hours and protocols for public access to City Hall, which are available at: boston.gov/news/covid-19-status-city-boston-departments. Bid Opening: The BPDA will hold a virtual bid opening and read each respective bid aloud at 12 noon on April 27, 2021 by live streaming and recording the event, with no in-person participation, following the COVID-19 guidance from the Office of the Inspector General. No responses will be accepted after the due date and time. The award of this contract is subject to the approval of the EDIC Board and is contingent on the availability of funds. Interested bidders shall submit a bid deposit in the amount of a minimum of 5% of the proposed total bid. The selected bidder shall also submit all required bid forms including Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (“DCAMM”).
