D/B/A BOSTON PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT AGENCY
PROPOSED MODIFICATION TO THE SOUTH END URBAN RENEWAL PLAN,
PROJECT NO. MASS. R-56, REGARDING PARCEL 7 LOCATED AT 41 BERKELEY STREET; SOUTH END NEIGHBORHOOD, BOSTON

Public Notice is hereby given that the Boston Redevelopment Authority (“BRA”) d/b/a the Boston Planning & Development Agency will consider at its scheduled meeting on Thursday, December 15, 2022, starting at 3:30 P.M., via Zoom, which meeting can be viewable at this link: bit.ly/3gvuysr a proposed modification to the Land Use and Building Requirements in the South End Urban Renewal Plan, Mass. R-56 regarding Parcel 7, (located at 41 Berkeley Street, in the South End Neighborhood).

Presently, the use requirements of the Plan allow for “Institutional” uses on Parcel 7 and it is now being proposed to be modified to include “Institutional, Residential Uses, Health Care Uses, Retail/Commercial Uses, Community Uses, Existing or Start-up Business or Not-For-Profit Affordable Cultural Uses, and Parking Uses”.

This Public Notice is being provided in accordance with a certain “Conciliation Agreement” by and among the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the BRA and others, dated as of January 16, 2001.
