NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

In accordance with M.G.L. c. 30B, as may be amended, the Economic Development and Industrial Corporation of Boston (“EDIC”) d/b/a Boston Planning & Development Agency, by its Chief Procurement Officer, is issuing an Invitation for Bids (“IFB”) for Project Number 9518B, Snow Clearance/Plowing, Snow Removal, and Salting/Sanding Services in the Raymond L. Flynn Marine Park in South Boston. The awarded contract will be for a term of one (1) year (the initial contract term), with two (2) one (1) year options that may be exercised at the sole discretion of the EDIC. In the event the EDIC exercises both options, the contract term shall be three (3) years. TIME AND PLACE FOR FILING BIDS: All bids shall be filed with the EDIC at One City Hall Square, 9th floor, Boston, MA, 02201 before 12:00 P.M. (Noon) on October 21, 2019, at which time and place respective bids will be opened forthwith and read aloud. No responses will be accepted after the due date and time. The award of this contract is subject to the approval of the EDIC Board, and is contingent on the availability of funds. IFB PACKAGE: The IFB, including site maps and requirements for this project, will be available to all interested bidders on September 30, 2019, 9:00 A.M. The IFB package will be available in digital and print form. A pre-bid conference will be held on October 7, 2019 at 11:30 A.M., at 22 Drydock Avenue, 2nd floor conference room, Boston, MA 02210. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is optional; however, all bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. To schedule site access and visit the Raymond L.
