Snow Clearance, Removal and Salting/Sanding on BRA-Owned Properties Citywide

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

In accordance with M.G.L. c. 30B, as may be amended, the Boston Redevelopment Authority (“BRA”) d/b/a Boston Planning & Development Agency, by its Chief Procurement Officer, is issuing an Invitation for Bid (“IFB”) for Snow Clearance, Removal and Salting/Sanding on BRA-Owned Properties Citywide. The awarded contract will be for a term of one (1) year (the initial contract term), with two one (1) year extension options that may be exercised at the sole discretion of the BRA. In the event the BRA exercises both options, the contract term shall be three (3) years. TIME AND PLACE FOR FILING BIDS: All bids shall be filed with the BRA at One City Hall Square, 9th floor, Boston, MA, 02201 before 12:00 P.M. (Noon) on October 21, 2019, at which time and place respective bids will be opened forthwith and read aloud. No responses will be accepted after the due date and time. The award of this contract is subject to the approval of the BRA Board, and is contingent on the availability of funds. IFB PACKAGE: The IFB, including site maps and requirements for this project, will be available to all interested bidders on September 30, 2019, 9:00 A.M. The IFB will be available in digital and print form. A pre-bid conference will be held on October 7, 2019 at 1:00 P.M., at 22 Drydock Avenue, 2nd floor conference room, Boston, MA 02210. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is optional, however, all bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. To schedule site access and visits of BRA owned properties citywide prior to submitting a bid, please send an email to the BRA Procurement Office at BPDA.CPO@boston.gov.
