SOLICITATION FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES
MBTA CONTRACT NO. V61PS05

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is soliciting Engineering and Program Management Services in support of the Bi-Level Commuter Rail Coach Procurement. Services may include but not be limited to contractor selection RFP support; assessment of existing Commuter Rail infrastructure; design reviews, test and inspections; project management; configuration management; administration of warranty. The estimated total budget for this program will be provided during the negotiation process, after the receipt of the proposals. The authority estimates a ten (10) years contract for this project.

This project is expected to utilize Federal and non-federal funding. The DBE participation goal for this project is thirteen (13%) percent of the total amount authorized. In addition, the Authority strongly encourages the use of Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises as prime consultants, sub-consultants and suppliers in all of its contracting opportunities.
