Standard Fence Services for BRA Owned Properties

BRA NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

The Boston Redevelopment Authority d/b/a Boston Planning & Development Agency (“BRA”), is soliciting written quotes in accordance with Massachusetts General Law c. 30, § 39M as may be amended, entitled Standard Fence Services for BRA Owned Properties. The awarded contract will be for a term of one (1) year (the initial term), with two (2) one (1) year extension options that may be exercised at the sole discretion of the BRA. In the event the BRA exercises both options, the contract term shall be three (3) years. The work generally consists of standard fence services for property owned by the BRA located city-wide, including the Charlestown Navy Yard, Long Wharf, Sargent’s Wharf, and various parcels/lots located throughout the City of Boston. The work will be on an as-needed basis and will involve short notice emergencies and time critical projects. The work will include installation, replacement, and maintenance of fencing as needed, including removal and proper disposal of all debris. Solicitation for Written Quotes (“SFQ”) available: SFQ for this project will be available to all interested contractors on: December 18, 2019 9:00 A.M. in digital form. Written quote submission: Written quote responses are due January 22, 2020, 1:00 P.M. at: Boston Planning & Development Agency, 22 Drydock Ave Boston, Massachusetts 02210 or via e-mail to the BRA Procurement Office email BPDA.CPO@boston.gov. Written quote responses submitted after the deadline shall be rejected. Written Quotes: Each written quote sheet shall be filled out, and addressed as listed below. Submit one (1) written quote marked: “Written Quote Response -_your company name___, “Standard Fence Services for BRA Owned Properties” and one (1) digital copy (PDF version on a thumb drive.) Rule for Award: The BRA will award the resulting contract to the responsible contractor with the lowest price for the initial term.
