The Brooke Charter School invites sealed bids from DCAMM Certified Elevator Bidders for the Brooke Charter School Window Project

The Brooke Charter School, 190 Cummins Highway, Roslindale MA, 02131 the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from DCAMM Certified Elevator Bidders for the Brooke Charter School Window Project, in accordance with the documents prepared by Kaestle Boos Associates, Inc. from Foxborough, Massachusetts.

The project consists of: Removal and replacement of metal windows and associated work around the exterior gymnasium façade, as well as removal and replacement of louvers and associated work on various exterior building façades of the Brooke Charter School, 190 Cummins Highway, Roslindale, MA 02131.

The total construction work is estimated to cost $400,000.

Bids are subject to M.G.L. c. 149 44A-J and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c. 149 26 to 27H inclusive.

Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category of work, Windows, and must include a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Update Statement. General Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount and made payable to Brooke Charter Schools.

All Bids should be submitted electronically online at www.biddocsonline.com.

General/Masonry Bids to be received no later than 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday December 09, 2020 and publicly opened, forthwith online.

Bid Forms and Contract Documents will be available: Nashoba Blue, Inc. at 433 Main Street, Hudson, MA 01749 or online at www.BidDocsOnline.com (may be viewed electronically and hardcopy requested) on Friday, November 13, 2020 after 1:00 p.m.

A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid conference and site visit will be held at Brooke Charter School, 190 Cummings Highway, Roslindale, MA on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. followed by a walk through.

There is a plan deposit of $ 50/set (refundable, maximum of 2 sets) payable to BidDocs Online Inc. Deposits may be electronically paid or must be a certified or cashier’s check. Mailing fee is $40/set (non-fundable), payable to Bid Docs Online Inc. (electronically or certified or cashier’s check). THIS PROJECT IS BEING ELECTRONICALLY BID, NO HARD COPY BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
