Unit renovations to 22 Oak Street and 466 Brick Kiln Road


The Falmouth Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the Housing Type: Vacant 705s, 096-705-L and 096 -705-O for the Falmouth Housing Authority in Falmouth Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by RESCOM Architectural, Inc.

The Project consists of: Unit renovations to 22 Oak Street and 466 Brick Kiln Road

The work is estimated to cost $ 139,064.00

Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 §§26 to 27H inclusive.

For projects with an estimated construction cost of over $100,000, by DHCD contractual requirement, General Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM), according to Article 2.1 in Section 00.21.00 Instructions to Bidders, in the category of: Name of Category or State “Not Applicable.” No Filed Sub Bids are required. Written Quotes will be received until July 8, 2021 3:00 PM.

This project is being Electronically Bid (E-Bid). All quotes shall be prepared and submitted online at and received no later than the date & time specified above. Hard copy quotes will not be accepted by the Awarding Authority. Bidders will be required to provide a Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond or certified check made payable to the Weymouth Housing Authority in the amount of a sum not less than 5% of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates).

There is a plan deposit of $25.00 per set (maximum of 2 sets) payable to Projectdog, Inc. and must be a certified or cashier’s check. This deposit will be refunded for up to two sets upon return of the sets in good condition within ten (10) days of receipt of quotes. Otherwise the deposit shall be the property of Projectdog, Inc. Contractors requesting Contract Documents to be mailed to them shall include a separate check for $35.00 per set, payable to Projectdog, Inc., to cover mail handling costs.

There will be a pre-bid conference on site on June 23, 2021 10:00 AM. Meet at 22 Oak Street and then 466 Brick Kiln Road

Please contact the architect Greg Siroonian at to make an appointment to attend the walk through. No more than eight bidders will be allowed at the jobsite at one time. No more than one person from each bidder will be allowed to attend. Masks should be worn in accordance with the Governor’s orders.

Attendance at the above referenced conference time is preferred and strongly recommended.

All questions and requests for interpretation must be submitted in writing to the architect at no later than July 6, 20201 3:00 PM. Questions and requests for interpretation may be responded to via addendum, as determined by the DHCD.
