HOPE BAY APARTMENTS is re-opening its waiting list and taking application for 1-2 and 3 bedroom subsidized apartments.

Income Qualifications: To qualify for these apartments, low-income limits apply.

All applicants will be screened for eligibility.

How to get an application: Applications will be available on Tuesday, December 10, Wednesday, December 11 and Thursday, December 12, 2019. You may obtain applications in several ways during the application period:

  1. In person at the Management Office located at 530 Warren Street, Dorchester, MA 02121 on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 and Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 4:00PM; or
  2. At the Boston Public Library, Grove Hall Branch located at 41 Geneva Avenue, Dorchester, MA 02121 on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 5:00PM to 7:00 PM; or
  3. You may access our website at www.UHMproperties.com.

Applications can be returned to the office on Monday, December 16, Tuesday, December 17, Wednesday, December 18, Thursday, December 19 and Friday, December 20, 2019 from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 PM.

If sent via U.S. MAIL, applications MUST BE POST MARKED BY FRIDAY, DECEMBER 20, 2019; if sent via email, fax, or delivered in person, it must be done BY DECEMBER 20, 2019 AT 2:00PM.

If you or anyone assisting you cannot use these methods, please call 617-541-5510, ext. 210 and ask that an application be mailed out to you. An informational meeting will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 10:00 AM at John E. Barbour, Jr. Community Room, located at 233 Quincy Street, Dorchester, Ma 02121, to answer any questions related to the lottery process.

If your application shows that you are eligible, your place on the waiting list will be decided by a lottery and you will be added to the waiting list. You do not have to come in person for the selection process. The lottery will be held on Friday, January 27, 2020 at 10:30AM at the Neighborhood Network Center located at 434 Warren Street, Dorchester, MA 02121.
