In the midst of the MA250 celebrations exploring the history of the American Revolution and the establishment of the United States, Boston’s Museum of African American History (MAAH) has launched an exhibition exploring Black experiences during the revolutionary period.

Visitors gathered at the Museum of African American History (MAAH) in Boston last Monday to see the unveiling of their newest exhibit titled “Black Voices of the Revolution.”

A new proposal in the Boston City Council would memorialize Crispus Attucks, a Colonial-era figure embraced as the first martyr of the American Revolution.
